For this DIY Decor project, we’re going to spruce up our doorknobs for Christmas. And I mean literally spruce them up (assuming you actually use spruce branches!). These Christmas Doorknob Hangers are an easy last minute Christmas craft project that adds a little holiday cheer to your home.
What you’ll need for this Christmas craft project:
- Jingle bells
- Christmas ornaments
- Christmas tree scraps– holly branches, and evergreens will all work
Choose your shapes– pick branches and twigs that are thick and angled.
Lay out your arrangement upside down. It’s easier to tie the knot on the back of the arrangement, so it doesn’t interfere with the pretty bow we’ll tie in the front in Step 3.
Tie a pretty bow in the front and wrap a looped piece of ribbon in to allow you to hang your pretty greenery from a doorknob or windowsill.
Pretty simple, eh?
I especially love seeing these Christmas hangers on pretty doorknobs with fabulous, old patina.
Hang all around your house on your most-used doors for a festive (and jingle-y!) holiday touch.
