A kitchen command center can be a big help in keeping a busy family organized. It's a place to leave family notes, post schedules and hang keys. This DIY kitchen command center features just about everything you'd want-- a magnetic chalkboard, a strip of cork board for pinning items, hooks for keys, and a rack for holding papers and folders. Plus, it looks great with its doors decorated with stained wood planks.
This DIY bathroom vanity has a fun twist-- it's made from a repurposed desk. It's surprisingly easy to make the conversion, too. Spruce up the desk with a new coat of paint, cut a hole for the sink, and you pretty have your bathroom vanity ready to install. We used a new desk with a cool mission-style look, but you could just as easily convert an old desk from a thrift store to create a vanity in whatever style suites your decor.
This eclectic DIY hook rack is so cute. Since you can choose what cabinet knobs to use, you can match your decor and express your own style. It's quite practical, too. Hang it in your bedroom or closet to hold scarves and necklaces. Choose smaller cabinet knobs or draw pulls, and you could hang keys and other small items from it.
