DIY Centerpiece with Succulents
This cute DIY centerpiece is easy to make, and it would look great decorating a spring party, or as a way to add some greenery to your home.
- Leaktite 2.5 Qt. bucket
- Painters tape
- Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Satin Fire Orange Spray Paint
- 1×8 pine wood
To begin making your DIY centerpiece, remove the handle from the Leaktite bucket. It comes off pretty easily, just pry it off one side at a time. Tape off the top area that you don’t want to paint with painters tape.
With the bucket upside down, spray evenly with the orange spray paint. One coat will probably be enough.
Once the paint is dry, fill the painted bucket with succulents or other plants. The soil included with the plants should be enough.
Top with decorative rocks.
To make it a DIY centerpiece, set it on a burlap table runner and a piece of 1×8 board cut to 10-12″ (sand any rough edges).
