Build an outdoor coffee table. It’s a great addition to your outdoor decor, and a big help when you’re entertaining.

Learn to build an outdoor coffee table that is stylish, functional and perfect for entertaining and relaxing outdoors. And while there are a plethora of offerings for outdoor dining and seating sets, patio chairs, tables, benches and more, you may get more enjoyment from building a unique piece yourself.

Here’s a short video featuring popular DIY blogger Ana White and Home Depot associate Wendy that will show you how to build an outdoor coffee table for your patio, porch or wherever you need a place to put your feet up, or set things down.

The table is easy to build, as you will see in the video, but you will need to have a few basic tools and materials on hand. In addition to boards, wood screws and wood glue, you’ll also need a few power tools, including a circular saw, a drill, and perhaps a cordless nailer. Don’t worry if you don’t own some of the tools on this list. Your local Home Depot Tool Rental Center will be happy to let you use ours for a few hours.
